As the first quarter of 2021 drew to a close, the arcade racing genre continued to engage users on the Android platform across Europe. Sensor Tower's analysis of the top five applications in this category provides insights into the performance of these games.

Shortcut Run by VOODOO showcased a declining trend in revenue, starting the quarter with $306K and slipping to $184K by the end of March. Downloads for the game peaked at around 529K in late January before gradually declining to 466K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, dropping from 1.48M to just under 1M.

Wacky Run, another VOODOO title, saw an inconsistent revenue pattern, with a notable peak of $178K in mid-March before falling to $114K. Downloads experienced a sharp decline from 567K at the start of the quarter to roughly 121K, and weekly active users decreased significantly from 1.1M to 481K.

Zynga's Gear Race 3D did not generate revenue during this period. However, downloads showed a steep drop from 579K to just over 64K, and weekly active users mirrored this decline, starting at 649K and reducing to 152K.

aquapark.io, also from VOODOO, had a fluctuating revenue stream, peaking at $92K in late March, with downloads decreasing mid-quarter to 115K but rebounding to 203K. The game's weekly active users hovered around 1.5M for most of the quarter, ending slightly lower at 1.45M.

Lastly, Shift race: Car racing games by Mamboo Games LLC started the quarter with no revenue but saw an increase to $391K in early February, followed by a decrease to $55K. Downloads surged to a high of 731K in early February but then dropped to 87K, while weekly active users peaked at 912K and fell to 158K by the end of March.
